2023 China Para Athletics Championships comes to successful conclusion

On May 27, the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 China Para Athletics Championships came to a successful conclusion after going through the four-day schedule. A total of 471 para athletes competed intensely in 159 events.
Yang Zhiwen, a post-95 generation athlete, won the men's 100m T63/T64 final with a score of 13.12 seconds, breaking the national record of 15.36 seconds set in August 2019.
Wang Wei, a post-90 generation athlete, equaled the national record for the men's shot put F40 final with a score of 10.10m.
All participants in the men's 100m T34 final had their scores marked with "PB" on the back, indicating the achievement of their personal best performances.
The Huanglong Sports Centre is accessible via the dedicated transport lines for Hangzhou Asian Games and equipped with wheelchair maintenance stations, information brochures with Braille and voice broadcasting functions, accessible movable public restrooms with automatic doors, and accessible elevators.
Designers of all facilities for people with impairments have allowed for each height difference of 1-2cm. Besides, the dedicated line drop-off platforms and training venues are equipped with accessible ramps at a ratio of 1:12. Additionally, 28 temporary accessible restrooms have been added with Braille maps provided at their entrances.
