As the largest non-competition venue during the event, the Hangzhou Asian Games Village will accommodate a large number of people, generating various types of garbage that need prompt collection and disposal every day.

The Asian Games Village has established a comprehensive garbage disposal system, and the "zero-waste Asian Games" system was implemented in the specific operation. 

Based on the distribution of garbage collection points, the village has designed efficient collection maps and schedules to speed up the clearing and transportation process.

Through the implementation of various measures for the recycling and reduction of household waste, all waste produced in the Asian Games Village (excluding perishable waste) will be transported to an incineration plant for power generation.

Perishable waste is promptly moved into a low-temperature environment to reduce odor dissemination. After processing, the waste oil and grease from perishable waste can be used to produce industrial-grade blended oil and biodiesel, while other parts can be utilised to produce biogas for boiler combustion or biogas power generation.
