The metro builds the urban transport network, which is a window for people to perceive the warmth of the city. Recently, Qian Jun as the chairman of Hangzhou Shangcheng District Association of the Blind and Hu Zhiyun as the president of Shangcheng District Accessible Environment Promotion Association gave a lively accessibility training course for about 30 module station head assistants and customer service management engineers of Hangzhou Metro Passenger Transport No. 1 Company.

The training teacher introduced the specific needs of visually impaired people taking the metro in detail, and demonstrated the service skills which were necessary to visually impaired people. In addition, the participants also carried out practice in pairs. Among them, one covered the eyes, and the other conducted guidance, to experience the actual experience of travel of visually impaired groups. Finally, people can also experience the blind showdown at Hangzhou Shangcheng District Service Centre of the Blind.

Through the training, the metro service personnel had the deep understanding of the actual needs of the impaired, and the company would further improve the metro accessibility construction.

Qian Jun said: "Hangzhou has more than 20,000 visually impaired people, but they are rarely seen. However, the metro in Hangzhou has been extended in all directions, and the visually impaired people can also go farther. I believe that, with the improvement of accessibility construction, the travel of the visually impaired people will become smoother and smoother."
