Recently, Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province has issued Regulations of Wenzhou City on Promoting the National Fitness. Its content covers the whole field of national fitness, with a purpose to boost the national sports reform in the form of sports legislation.

Since 2017, Wenzhou has explored mass sports, competitive sports, sports industry, etc., so as to take the lead in launching the "Public Gym" in China.

As one of co-host cities of Hangzhou Asian Games, Wenzhou has promoted the construction of sports venues and the publicity of national fitness sports in recent years. By the end of 2021, the sports venue had occupied a total area of 23,867,400 square metres, and the per capita sports area had been up to 2.49 square metres, achieving the full coverage of "15-minute fitness circle".

Next, Wenzhou will push forward the digital reform of sports and extend the public sports service by digital means to solve the problem of people's fitness.
