On March 19, 2022, State Grid Hangzhou Xiaoshan Electric Power Company had successfully finished the acceptance inspection of the "one-key sequential control" renovation project for the 220 kV Century Substation (also referred to as Century Bian).

It is learned that this substation is located on the northwest side of the Asian Games Village. As a vital substation for power supply in the core areas of Hangzhou 2022, it is entrusted with an important task of supplying power to the main stadium, tennis hall, swimming sports hall, comprehensive training hall and other necessary facilities in Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center. The successful completion of "one-key sequential control" renovation project prepared a "shortcut key" for the operation of the substation, a strong electric power "heart" to Hangzhou 2022.
