The track laying construction of Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway was started on July 21, and would be finished at the end of the year. Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway would get ready for operation in June, 2024.

Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway starts from Tongludong Station of Hangzhou, extends southwards, passes by Jinhua and Taizhou, and reaches Wenzhou, with a total length of 260 km and a designed speed limit of 350 km/h.

After being completed and put into operation, the railway will connect the abundant tourism resources of Hangzhou, Jinhua, Taizhou, Wenzhou, etc., to promote the interconnected development of cities in the Yangtze River Delta.
