On the occasion of the 100-day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games, a special driverless bus line was launched in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. 5 driverless minibuses, decorated with Asian Games elements, departed from the Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre and passed through such crowded areas as the baseball & softball venue, subway stations, the university cluster, and the cultural and creative park.

This special bus line is the first driverless bus line for the approaching Asian Games in Zhejiang province. While driving on open city roads, the driverless minibuses can avoid pedestrians and other vehicles, make turns, and recognise traffic signals automatically. In addition, in complex traffic scenarios, they can also realize dynamic obstacle avoidance and overtaking.

During the Hangzhou Asian Games, driverless minibuses will serve as a special form of transportation to meet the travel needs of athletes, media reporters, spectators, and other people.
