Modern city marketing: stories of Hangzhou never ends

The film "The Chanting Willows" was released on March 4. During the screening at last year's Shanghai International Film Festival, its ticket was really hard to get, because it showed audiences elegance and beauty of Hangzhou on the big screen again: the hazy West Lake and Hefang Street of primitive simplicity work in concert with the emotional trend of the whole story in imagery.

The last film that was extensively shot in Hangzhou dates back to Feng Xiaogang's "If You Are the One", in which Xixi, The Broken Bridge, and Qingteng Teahouse were all featured. With this film, Hangzhou has done a good job in modern city marketing. Hangzhou CBD in the earlier Switch ("Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains") has also greatly impressed the audiences.
