Recently, China's National Lawn Bowls Team has been preparing for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games at Hangzhou Wenhui School. 48-year-old Feng Shugui is the oldest athlete in the team. Wang Bin, also 48, serves as the team's assistant coach.

Playing lawn bowls looks simple, but players have to repeatedly practise with assistant coaches to control the throwing motion and direction and the arm swing amplitude and speed, thus developing a good sense of touch and distance when dribbling the ball.

Athletes' achievements are inseparable from their seamless cooperation with the assistant coach - in training and competition, assistant coaches make sounds for athletes to judge the distance and position and control the arc and power of their throws.

It is the first time for China's national team to participate in the lawn bowls event at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games. All players will spare no effort to fight for the best results in the competition.
