To ensure successful Hangzhou Asian (Para) Games, Chun'an County of Hangzhou City is carrying out a special action advocating the prior use of tactile paving and accessible restrooms for people with impairments. The campaign aims to guide the public to maintain accessible facilities, ensure their safe use by people in need at any time and cultivate a social atmosphere to care for these facilities.

At present, Chun'an County has posted the campaign slogans along 10 kilometres of tactile paving and outside more than 30 urban public toilets within the scope of key areas, including hospitals, schools, service windows, sports venues and commercial areas.

The Accessibility Service Office has also organised volunteers to carry out related activities, hand out publicity materials, and patiently explain the significance of setting up tactile paving and accessible restrooms, thereby creating an active urban environment for Hangzhou Asian Games and Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
