On June 30, "Exciting Hangzhou" Zhejiang Lawn Bowls Competition was held on Hangzhou Wenhui School Lawn Bowls Green. Lawn bowls is one of official events of Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Between June 28 and July 3, fifty-six physically or visually-impaired athletes from all over Zhejiang Province participated in the event with eighteen gold medals for grabs.

What is lawn bowls?
Competition Method of Lawn Bowls: The athletes hold the throwing ball by hand. The athlete on one side throws a white target ball on the track to approach the target ball by rolling the ball and compete against each other on the track around the target ball. Finally, the winner with more points is selected according to the distance between the throwing ball and the target ball.

Interestingly, the competition ball is a flat and "eccentric" sphere with asymmetrical weights on both sides. During the game, the ball walks in an arc, and bypasses the obstacle to reach the destination. Given that, lawn bowls is similar to a combination of curling and bowling.
The intelligent venue brings the best experience
The venue has many "hidden" accessibility services. For example, the venue provides the intelligent AI sign language translation service to achieve the full coverage of information. In "Exciting Hangzhou" Zhejiang Lawn Bowls Competition, "Xiao Mo", the intelligent AI sign language translator as Hangzhou Asian Para Games Intelligent Sign Language Platform, made debut, to act as the barrier-free communication bridge between the healthy people and the hearing-impaired citizens, so that the hearing-impaired spectators may better acquire the natural language information through "Xiao Mo" to enjoy the barrier-free event services.

In addition, the competition customized Spectator Service Guide for spectators. The QR code can be scanned to provide the speech service in order that the visually-impaired people can better obtain the information.
