On August 5, the 9th Haining China Speed Roller Skating Open kicked off in Haining, Zhejiang, attracting 760 athletes of 88 teams in China, Spain, Columbia, Netherlands, Japan, India, USA, and Hong Kong (China), with the total reward amount of about 100,000 yuan.

The event has been held for many times and is the international B-class speed roller skating field event recognized by China Roller Skate Association. The event meets the international standards in multiple aspects. It uses the timing system equipment that is the same as that of the Asian Games, making athletes' results more accurate. The judge team is composed of 27 members, including Event Referee & International Umpire Yin Dali. There are five technical officials of Hangzhou Asian Games in total. Yin Dali said, "This event is an important warm-up match before Hangzhou Asian Games."
