HAGOC, OCA hold 6th IT Audit Meeting

From July 31 to August 2, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) had held the Sixth Information Technology Audit Meeting in Hangzhou. Attendees included Deputy Mayor Xu Weihua, member of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee and the Information Technology Command Centre Chief, Waleed Mubarak, Director of the Information Technology Department of the Olympic Council of Asia, IT official Anil Reddy, technical expert Manuel Martin, IT auditors Manuel Gonzalez and Alfonso Sanchez Vivanco. Also present were responsible persons from the HAGOC's Broadcast & IT Department, as well as persons in charge of the Sports Department and the Press & Public Relations Department.

Xu Weihua said that the HAGOC has maintained close communication with OCA to promote the information technology work for the 19th Asian Games.

During the meeting, HAGOC staff introduced the prepared timing and scoring solutions for the events, event integration system testing, communication network, venue plan, and intelligent Asian Games projects. They also had in-depth communication with the OCA IT auditors.

IT auditor Alfonso Sanchez Vivanco fully appreciated HAGOC's efforts, including those in hosting multiple test events and conducting continuous system testing.

Waleed Mubarak pointed out that the Information Technology Command Centre utilises a digital command screen to conduct information technology command and dispatch through sensitive perception and data analysis, fully embodying the concept of "intelligence", which is commendable.
