Recently, Chinese telecom operators conducted a wireless communication network test to ensure full coverage in the Asian Games Village.

Testing personnel held devices and thoroughly inspected the Village, indoors and outdoors. Their smartphones were loaded with specialised testing software, which incorporated floor plans of the Village's different areas. Hence, testing personnel could mark the signal strength at each location, record signal strength data on floor plans, and collect various wireless communication-related data.

After thorough on-site testing, the personnel input all data into computers to conduct comprehensive data analysis and make a complete data profile.

Afterwards, the testing team will have a "wireless communication network map" for the Asian Games Village, where the 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G signal strengths at all points are indicated.

In response to problems identified during the testing, the team also offered target solutions for optimisation. The solutions will be carried out soon so that all issues will be addressed, and every corner of the Village will be fully covered with wireless network signals.
