On the afternoon of July 27, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) organised the draw ceremony for team sports of the 19th Asian Games, where open draws for the four team sports of football, volleyball, handball, and sepaktakra, were conducted.

The group-division draw ceremony for team sports marks an important milestone in preparing for the Hangzhou Asian Games, which will facilitate the determination of participation information, ticket sales, and television broadcasting and provide participating delegations from various countries and regions with reference for preparation.
