On July 7, a deployment meeting of the first technical rehearsal of information technology (IT) for the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games was held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre, marking an official start of IT technical rehearsals for the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

Two IT technical rehearsals will be organised ahead of the Asian Games, with 56 Asian Games venues in Zhejiang involved. The first technical rehearsal runs from July 10 to 15.

Technical rehearsals are a significant milestone marking IT systems for large-scale and comprehensive sports events are ready for operations. By simulating technical operations in Games-time scenarios, the rehearsals will test the extensive IT operational capabilities in all aspects, thus ensuring all IT-related elements can meet the requirements of Games-time operations.
