China Youth Football League 2023 kicks off in Hangzhou

On July 1, the 2nd China Youth Football League 2023 & "Exciting Hangzhou" Chinese Football Association National Youth Football League (U19) entered the second stage, with the teams moving from Jinhua and Wenzhou to Hangzhou for the third round of group matches. The group matches run through July 5 at the Huanglong Sports Centre Stadium, Shangcheng Sports Centre Stadium, Xiaoshan Sports Centre Stadium, and Linping Sports Centre Stadium, also the venues for the coming Hangzhou Asian Games.

The first match attracted more than 2,000 spectators and ignited the field. Despite the heat, fans of Hangzhou cheered the teams with continued applause. The head coach of Nantong exclaimed, "Both the field conditions and atmosphere created by the spectators seem to be better than those of Chinese Super League matches."
The football match of the Hangzhou Asian Games will be held at eight venues in Wenzhou, Jinhua and Hangzhou, six of which are venues for this Youth Football League.
