From May 7 to 8, the 2023 3rd Hangzhou Youth Sports League Hockey Tournament was held at Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium, attracting 250 young players from 16 teams from Hangzhou, Shanghai and Changzhou.

As a sport integrating speed, strength and team tactics, hockey has become increasingly popular with youngsters in recent years.

Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium, known as the "Hangzhou Umbrella", is the hockey competition venue for the Hangzhou Asian Games. The tournament not only gives youngsters an early experience of the advanced Asian Games venue, but also promotes youth hockey in Hangzhou.
