From April 25 to 27, NOC Chefs de Mission Seminar will be held for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.

This is the largest international conference since the preparation of the Hangzhou Asian Games. The seminar will be attended by leaders of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee, Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) and nearly 100 representatives of the Olympic Committee from 45 Asian countries and regions. The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) will observe the seminar.

The NOC Chefs de Mission Seminar of Hangzhou Asian Games is an important communication platform for the host city and delegations. Holding the seminar is a customary practice in the organisation of large international sporting events, an important milestone event for the Hangzhou Asian Games, which is an integral pre-competition rehearsal. The seminar will help the HAGOC to further understand the needs of the delegations, improve event organisation and show the image of Hangzhou as a warm and hospitable host city.

During the seminar, HAGOC will introduce the latest preparation progress to the participating NOCs, release the latest competition policies, procedures and related information, and make policy and procedural statements on 16 areas such as competition services and registration, anti-doping, competition and training venues, accreditation, Athletes Village and Athletes Sub-villages, accommodation and catering services. Exchanges will also be held with NOC chefs to support them in preparing for competition.

In addition, the delegations will visit and inspect a number of competition venues, such as the Olympic Sports Centre Venue Cluster and China Hangzhou Esports Centre, as well as non-competition venues, such as Asian Games Village and Hangzhou Asian Games Museum, to get a comprehensive understanding of the facilities and venue conditions. They will also visit the West Lake and other famous places to experience the city culture of Hangzhou.
