On November 3, the National Rowing Championships 2022 was held in Lishui, Zhejiang. This was the highest-level rowing competition with the largest scale in China, and nearly 800 athletes would compete within five days.

Rowing is one of water sports events of Hangzhou Asian Games. The event would also launch the Trial for the National Centralized Training Team Members, and the Competitive Selection Activity of the National Team Coaches, to prepare for Hangzhou Asian Games and Paris Olympic Games.
