On the afternoon of July 10, the starting ceremony of the First China Youth Football League was held in Zhejiang Huanglong Sports Centre. The holding of the National Youth League helps to cultivate football reserve talents and promote the integrated development of sports and education.

The league is oriented to the young people from all over the country, breaks the barrier of participation in competition design and organization, abandons the cups and medals mania, and focuses on the popularization of football and the improvement of football population. It will become the top youth football event with the widest coverage, highest competitive level, most participants and greatest social influence in China.

Before the starting ceremony, children from six youth training organizations in Hangzhou also showed four basic training skills in Youth Training Outline of Chinese Football Association to participating guests and students, including 1V1 attack and defense, off-ball tactical ability, quality of the first shot, and active oppression. Despite the hot weather, the children were enthusiastic and actively engaged in training.
