Chinese Softball League 2022 is in full swing at Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre. Wang Lan, the "ace pitcher" of Zhejiang Shaoxing Guyuelongshan Jianhu Swordswoman Team, went all out to participate in the competition and won the first victory in the league's history on behalf of Zhejiang Team.

Wang Lan joined Jiangsu Women's Softball Team in 2002, won "12 consecutive champions" of the National Championships from 2010 to 2021, and seized "three consecutive champions" of the softball event of the National Games between 2013 and 2021. Since Wang Lan entered the national team in2005, she has been on the podium in three consecutive Asian Games from 2010 to 2018. Wang Lan stated: "Participating in the competition on behalf of the national team is an honor and a responsibility. Competing with the world's top players has greatly improved my skills."

From a rookie to an indispensable ace pitcher of the national team, Wang Lan is a witness to the development of Chinese Softball. Wang Lan said: "Athletes really need the competition to test the training level. Otherwise, they are unrealistic. As a veteran, I am very happy to witness the holding of Chinese Softball League. This is a process from scratch, and I will also do my best to make Chinese Softball better and better."
