Rikako IKEE won three champions in Japanese Swimming Championships and was qualified for Hangzhou Asian Games

The three-day Japanese Swimming Championships came to an end in Yokohama on May 1. Famous Swimmer Rikako IKEE who used to suffer from leukemia won three champions and was qualified for Hangzhou Asian Games.

During the three-day competition, Rikako IKEE successively got three champions of women's 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m freestyle.

Hangzhou Asian Games will be the second Asian Games for Rikako IKEE. In the Asian Games Jakarta 2018, Rikako IKEE won six gold medals and two silver medals, becoming the first swimmer that got 6 gold medals in one event, reputed as the "Most Valuable Athlete" of Jakarta Asian Games by the Olympic Council of Asia.

In February, 2019, Rikako IKEE confessed that she was suffering from leukemia. However, after a period of treatment, she recovered and came back, and then successfully participated in Tokyo Olympic Games.
