Go for the Asian Games! The National Wushu Sanda Team completes the second and third rounds qualification trails

In order to select and train athletes for the upcoming Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, the National Wushu Sanda Team of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 has recently staged the second and third rounds of qualification trails. In order to test the results of the intensified training, the team specially arranged internal confrontation matches in addition to the qualification trails.

Up to 74 intense matches falling into 6 units were held within a span of 6 days. More than 30 leading active players of the team, including Well-known Players Li Yueyao, Qiao Jieru, Jiang Haidong and Wang Xuetao, had successively showed on the arena to contend in the match.

Li Yueyao, known as “Magic Cudgel” of the team due to her steady performance, turned out to be the brightest star of the match. Li had won the championships for women’s Sanda 52kg in the Asian Games 2018 and World Sanda Championships 2019 respectively. In the final, Li Yueyao secured the title with an overwhelming victory of 2:0. After the match, Li sworn to defend the championship at upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games.
