In the beautiful Qiandao Lake Scenic Area, there is a "bright pearl" surrounded by mountains and rivers. Seen from the sky, the "crystal" steel structure canopy shines like a pearl in the sun. This "bright pearl" is Chun'an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome!

Fodil, a French Canadian, is currently teaching in the Tourism College of Zhejiang, and has been living in Hangzhou for more than six years. For the incoming Hangzhou Asian Games, he is full of expectations. After visiting Chun'an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome, he noted: "Although I am relatively familiar with the landscape of Qiandao Lake, I cannot help but admire it when I walk into the venue this time."

Chun'an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome is the newly-built venue for Hangzhou Asian Games, covering a total construction area of 24,282 square meters, with the design concept of "Fish Leaping in the Rising Sun & Bright Pearl Beside Qiandao Lake". The rising sun symbolizes the red sun rising on the horizon. Fish leaping symbolizes the age-old elements of fish culture; seen from a distance, it is just like the ripples generated when the fish leaps out of the lake. The bright pearl means that the overall appearance of the building seems to be a pearl hidden in the landscape of Qiandao Lake. 

In the venue, there is a standard cycling track with a perimeter of 250 meters. After experiencing the distance between the track and the spectator seats, Fodil said sincerely: "I believe that, during the event, the thrilling rhythm can be clearly felt by every spectator on the site!" He also stated: "If possible, I would like to invite my relatives and friends to come and watch the competition here, so as to jointly feel the speed and passion."
