56 venues all completed, let's go for a cloud visit!

On March 21, 2022, the construction of the 3x3 basketball ground of Deqing Geographic Information Park Basketball Court, as the "final project", was completed. Ten days later, on March 31, Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre and Shaoxing Keqiao Yangshan Sport Climbing Centre, in succession, passed the sports event function acceptance. Now, after 5 years of construction, 56 venues for Asian (Para) Games Hangzhou 2022 all have been completed and passed the comprehensive sports event function acceptance.

"Venues should go ahead of events." Well completed venues are necessary for hosting a successful and excellent Asian Games, and they are also windows for citizens from different countries to experience the "Chinese style, Zhejiang Glamour, Hangzhou Flavour, Spectacular" here. Since 2017, from location planning to design, construction, acceptance inspection and other parts' ending, the venues,one after another, have been springing up, witnessing the preparation process of HAGOC. During thousands of days and nights, builders spare no efforts to fight, the perseverance and conviction of all workers were clearly witnessed. There are 56 competition venues for Asian (Para) Games Hangzhou 2022 in total. According to the principle "Province-wide, Hangzhou-led Games Hosting", competition venues are distributed in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua and other cities. Among them, there are 12 newly constructed venues, 26 reconstructed ones, 9 continued ones and 9 temporary ones as well as 31 training arenas, 1 Asian Games Village and 4 Satellite Asian Games villages (for athletes). With the concept "Green, Smart, Economical, Ethical" guiding the construction, the venues are built to meet the needs of events, promote the construction of cities, display the cities' images and serve the citizens.

Next, HAGOC is going to accelerate the work of venues' constructive operation entities transfer and the maintenance of facilities. Afterwards, through test events, the running conditions of facilities in venues will be tested to ensure that they are foolproof and at the best condition during the Games. Meanwhile, to further improve the quality of operation and manifest Chinese characteristics, HAGOC began to launch special works in "Ten Aspects", including facility operation & maintenance examination, special acceptance inspection of rectification, zero policy and closed loop, landscape layout and temporary facilities. As Asian games Hangzhou 2022 will open on September 10 and Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022 will open on October 9, all 56 venues have been completed and passed the acceptance inspection of event function.
