Qiandao Lake, or Thousand Island Lake, in Chun'an County is offering holidaymakers with an irresistible option for summer resort as it is hosting the 2023 Qiandao Lake Beer Festival from July 22 to August 20.

Launched at the Qiandao Lake Beer Town, the event is jointly organized by Qiandao Lake Tourism Group and Cheerday Beer Co., Ltd. As the 19th Asian Games is drawing near, Qiandao Lake is adding new charm to Hangzhou, the host city of the games, with its new image as a city of beer. 

Beer theme activities have been scheduled at the Qiandao Lake Beer Town every night from 5:00 to 10:00 till August 20. They include electronic music party, water sprinkling party, beer carnival and performances. 

The activities will be simultaneously held in Qiandao Lake Township, Jieshou Township, Jiangjia Township, Dashu Township, Fengshuling Township, Wenchang Township and Linqi Township.

In locations outside the main venue, tourists can have a taste of the beer in beer booths distributed across the downtown area, landmarks and commercial blocks in Qiandao Lake, which include Xiushui Square, Riverside Park, open-air food stalls, and Xiushui Street. Beer booths are also set up in townships including Jieshou, Jiangjia, Fengshuling, Dashu, Wenchang and Linqi. Tourists can taste local beer wherever they are.

The organizers will also send beer trucks to tour urban and rural areas, RV campgrounds and scenic spots to sell beer and bring music to customers.
