Several bus routes between hospitals have been put into use in Hangzhou to help residents access medical services conveniently.

Bus line No 183 passes by the most populated residential communities in downtown Hangzhou and stops at 10 hospitals including the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University of Medicine, the Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital and the Zhejiang People's Hospital.

The city has also launched several bus lines that connect different branches of hospitals. The bus line No 298, for example, connects the East Hangzhou branch and the Jiefang Road branch of the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine.

Hangzhou had also opened 13 bus lines with hospitals as terminal stations as of May this year.
